Tragically, Treveri passed on April 24, 2010.  She died peacefully in her stall at the age of 23.

Profile.  Treveri (“Trevi”) was imported from Germany in 1991.   She was our foundation mare and the matriarch of our Farm.  Trevi was from the traditional German Hanoverian Trapper lines.  She had beautiful conformation with a strong shoulder and solid bone, yet still had an elegant, feminine head.  Trevi had a lovely overtrack at the walk, an elegant trot, and a beautiful rythmic canter.   Probably the most important trait that Trevi passed on to her foals was her temperament.  Trevi was nurturing and unflappable.  As her pictures above show, Trevi moved with an air of dignity, a love of her offspring, and a tremendous sense of trust and bonding with her owners.  

Offspring.  Trevi put many healthy foals on the ground.   Some of her offspring are competing in the show ring and others are superior quality broodmares:

• Trevi’s 1999 daughter Farethewel by ES Wertherson is currently one of our select broodmares in the Hanoverian Main Studbook. 
• Trevi’s 2000 colt Waldo by ES Wall Street Kid is currently competing in dressage at the Prix St. Georges level. 
• Trevi’s 2002 daughter Dartmouth by ES Domiro is another one of our select broodmares who is in the Hanoverian Main Studbook and was recently awarded Premium status by the Oldenburg Registry. 
• Trevi’s 2003 daughter Leeandra by ES Loerke was the Site Champion at the competitive 2009 Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian Breeders Fall Inspection and Mare Performance Test where she earned a perfect score of “10” for “typiness” and where she attained Elite Mare Candidate status.  Leeandra ranked 5th in the Nation as a Top AHS Inspection Mare for 2009.
• Finally, Trevi’s 2005 daughter Larisa LS by ES Loerke earned Elite eligible status at the 2009 Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian Breeders Fall Inspection and ranked 27th in the Nation as a Top AHS Inspection Mare for 2009. Larisa LS was Grand Champion at the 2008 Morven Park Breed Show in Leesburg, Virgina.  She is currently competing in dressage at first level.
